MONTEGO BAY, St James - REGGAE singer Half Pint's management team is very upbeat after recently signing of a downloadable content (DLC) deal which will see the artiste's song — Loving is All I Have Got — being released on major video game brands.
"The song is to be released this year on major game brands. I am very pleased because it can reach over 70 to 100 million customers," said Loyal Haylett, who has been managing the artiste for over two decades.
Haylett was reluctant to disclose further details of the DLC deal.
He, however, revealed that Half Pint is currently working on a new album to be released this year and will feature a number of collaborations.
Half Pint, whose real name is Lindon Andrew Roberts, recorded his first single Sally in 1983. This was followed by Winsome in that same year. Both went on to become hits.
The west Kingston-born singer's catalogue of songs includes Greetings, Mr Landlord, Substitute Lover, and Just Be Good. Winsome was covered by the Rolling Stones in 1986.
