WHEN veteran session guitarist Winston 'Bo Pee' Bowen got the opportunity to cover the Righteous Brothers’ You've Lost That Loving Feeling, he made full use of it.

"Is a song wi love from long time. Wi do it as an instrumental an' decide to do some different things with the arrangement," he said.

Bowen was inspired to do the instrumental after playing on a reggae version of the 1964 classic by singer Linval 'Ashaka' Thomas.

He did his cut accompanied by bass player Danny Dennis and keyboardist Paul 'Wrong Move' Crossdale. Thomas and Bowen's versions are released on the former's Ram Jam Records label.

Winston Bowen has been recording and touring for 40 years. He was a member of Lloyd Parks' We The People and 809 bands and has toured with a number of artistes including Dennis Brown, Luciano and U Roy. His debut album, Bo's Mood, was released five years ago.
