Bunny Wailer for Peter Tosh show tonight
Thursday, October 18, 2012
BUNNY Wailer is among the artistes for the Peter Tosh celebration at Studio 38 on Trafalgar Road this evening.
The event is a joint production between the Peter Tosh Estate and Pulse Modelling Agency.
Bunny Wailer, Tosh and Bob Marley were original members of reggae’s most successful group, The Wailers.
Tosh was gunned down at his St Andrew home in September 1987 while Marley died of cancer in May 1981.
At King’s House on Monday, Tosh was posthumously awarded the Order of Merit while Wailer was decorated with the Order of Jamaica.
The show also features Wailers’ son Abijah, Ky-Mani Marley, Andrew Tosh, and Tosh 1.
Sizzla Kalonji, the Mighty Diamonds, Junior Reid, Pinchers, Josey Wales and the Tamlins complete the line-up.
A symposium covering the life and legacy of Peter Tosh will be held at the University of the West Indies tomorrow.
