AMERICAN mixmaster DJ Boof, official deejay for YMCMB rapper Nicki Minaj and Fabolous, will bring his star power to Fiction Fantasy at Fiction Night Club, Marketplace, in St Andrew, tonight.

"We seek to add something exciting and different every week to Fiction Fantasy Night Club," said David Annakie, Fiction owner.

A 10-year veteran in the DJ game, DJ Boof was first discovered by the husband of New York talk show host Wendy Williams. Through his career, he developed the nickname Da Shutdown, from his ability to 'shutdown' any event he's at. On his very first visit to the island, he's expected to live up to his legend.

Annakie added that DJ Boof is a very versatile character who caters to the hip-hop, electronic dance music (EDM) and R&B crowd. DJ Boof, who lists Buju Banton among his favourite artistes, is also knowledgable in Caribbean music.

"Patrons should come Saturday expecting high energy music, a mix of international and local beats," added Cortia Bingham, PR manager.
