ROOTS-REGGAE artiste Dan Giovanni is intent to add his name to the current revival sweeping the music.

His album, entitled I-ternal Knowledge, is slated to be release this month. The 10-track set is produced by Humble Warrias Entertainment/Bruckkout productions.

"The album is compact with revolutionary messages based on social commentary, life experiences and historic education messages," the 23-year-old Rastafarian singer told The Jamaica Observer.

The set includes Fade Away, Domestic Violence, Keep Blazing, My Sunshine, and My Identity.

Dan Giovanni, christened Royell Giovanni Walker, said doing music was inevitable as it was etched in his DNA.

"Music is inherent in my family. I grew up seeing my grandfather playing the banjo," he said.

The former Kingston College student said from an early age, he would pound beats on his desk in school.

He, however, got his break in 2010.

"I would like to see my music worldwide so everyone can listen and be edified," he said.

His other releases include My Identity (Mama Africa), Why, Fade Away, and Turn Me On.
