IT was standing room only, as the FAME FM DJ crew of Arif Cooper and Sanjay completed their musical invasion of Wray & Nephew Bikini Sundayz FAME DJ Invasion at Ultra Beach Club in Portmore, St Catherine, last Sunday.

"The event was very successful and feedback from the patrons was that they loved it," said event organiser Maurice Johnson.

The very popular monthly beach party was packed to capacity, requiring the safety fencing to event to be moved to accommodate the constantly swelling crowd numbers.

House DJs Santana, Krazy Dean, Bad Scientist and Simple kept the crowd warmed up musically until the first of the FAME duo hit the stage. Cooper delivered a set of hip-hop and reggae that had partygoers singing along and throwing their hands in the air. Sanjay followed with a quick set of soca before returning to reggae, much to the audience's delight.

Johnson said he is now focused on the sixth anniversary of the Bikini Sundayz brand on August 3, at its current venue.

"The plan is to have a special guest artiste perform, along with giveaways," Johnson explained.
