Fashion, Beauty expo in the city
Wednesday, January 30, 2013
The Fashion and Beauty Expose show takes place Saturday at PULS8, Trafalgar Road, St Andrew.
Held under the theme, 'Beauty Is A Lifestyle', organisers have formatted a 'feel good' programme dedicated to empowering women of all ages.
It will include presentations on the essentials of make-up, including products and application, as well as a fashion show featuring the Tantrik Swimwear Collection.
Make-up artist, Julene Dixon, CEO of Make-up by Julz, and Tantrik designer Cady-Ann Brown are co-producers of the event, which is endorsed by PULS8 principal Kingsley Cooper, founder of its parent company, Pulse.
Brown has a long association with Pulse, going back to 2003 when she won the Miss Jamaica Fashion Model contest.
Her creations have been shown at Caribbean Fashionweek in Jamaica.
Dixon, whose clientele comprises women in the corporate world, focuses on the total skin-care package, schooling her clients on the basics of applying makeup.
The Fashion and Beauty Expose starts at 7:00 pm.
