HALLE BERRY HURT ON SET

Thursday, July 19, 2012

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Halle Berry suffered a minor head injury during a fight sequence on a movie set and was treated at a Los Angeles hospital and released.

Berry's Los Angeles publicist Meredith O'Sullivan says the 45-year-old actress suffered the injury Tuesday night on the set of her upcoming movie 'The Hive.' She was taken to a hospital as a precaution but was released a short time later.

O'Sullivan says Berry will continue work on the film.

The celebrity website x17online.com and TMZ.com were first to report the news.

GLEN CAMPBELL CANCELS TOUR

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Country Music Hall of Fame performer Glen Campbell is cancelling his tour of Australia and New Zealand with Kenny Rogers next month for

health reasons.

A spokeswoman says Campbell is not up for "the very long flight that it would require". The 76-year-old is battling Alzheimer's disease.

It would have been Campbell's last international stop on his "Goodbye Tour".

Rogers is continuing the month-long tour, kicking off August 10 in Christchurch, New Zealand. Australian country artists will fill in as special guests. Campbell was also scheduled to do a solo show in Brisbane, Australia.

GAGA GOES NUDE FOR AD

LADY Gaga took it all off for her Fame perfume ad — well, except for some strategically-placed little men a la Gulliver's Travels. The singer debuted the racy black-and-white image, shot by Steven Klein, on her LittleMonsters.com site on Monday and it leaves little to the imagination: Gaga is completely nude (except for a black mask) and holding a bottle of her new black-liquid fragrance as 17 miniature men cling to her body in all the necessary places. "i won't lie I'm a bit nervous," the 26-year-old tweeted just before revealing the provocative pose for Fame, which is being distributed by Coty and hits stores in the fall. "its been a while since i've shared some work

with you."

So what does Fame smell like? Exactly how you would expect a fragrance created by Lady Gaga to smell. In a radio interview last year, she described it as "like an expensive hooker ... [blood and semen] is in the perfume, but it doesn't smell like it. You just get sort of the after feeling of sex from the semen, and the blood is sort of primal. And the blood was taken from my own blood sample, so it's like a sense of having me on

your skin."

Thankfully, a sneak peek at the bottle describes a much more pleasant visual. The black-and-gold packaging spells out the ingredients as: Tears of belladonna, crushed heart of tiger orchidea, with a black veil of incense, pulverised apricot, and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops.
