Jah Dirt looks to Life
UP-AND-COMING singjay Jah Dirt is determined to become one of dancehall's greatest with his single Life.
The single was released in September and produced by Thomo T and done on the One Life Rhythm.
"When the song is being played, you can sense that the message is coming straight from my heart. It speaks of what I have experienced and what I am experiencing now," Stewart told the Jamaica Observer.
The 24-year-old, whose real name is Hardert Stewart, expresses confidence that his song will not only become a hit single but will also send a positive message to youths at risk.
"Even the little children in my community gravitate towards the song and sing it constantly, so that motivates me to continue," he said.
A past student of Port Antonio High School, the sinjay is signed to the Frenz 4 Real Production.
"In each song that I do there is always a message being sent and it's always something that children can listen to," he said.
