Jimmy Cliff, Beres to perform alongside Gladys Knight at Groovin in the Park

JAMAICAN singers Jimmy Cliff and Beres Hammond will on Sunday, July 1 share the stage with Gladys Knight and Boyz II Men.

Dubbed Groovin In The Park, the concert it unfold at Roy Wilkins Park in Queens, New York.

“Gladys is a music icon and one of the biggest R&B stars. We are honoured, excited and sincerely grateful to have such an icon on our stellar lineup” Christopher Roberts, CEO of Groovin Inc, parent company of Groovin In The Park said. 

The powerful vocals of Gladys Knight have graced some of the the biggest songs of our time and have shaped the history of R&B. In a dazzling career that spans several decades as a successful R&B singer and songwriter, the four-time Grammy winner has etched her name in the annals of music history with hits like Midnight Train To Georgia, I Heard It Through the Grapevine, Friendship Train, If I Were Your Woman, I Don’t Want To Do Wrong and the Grammy Award winning Neither One of Us which has made her a household name to millions of fans globally. 

Knight will be also be joined on stage dancehall artiste Beenie Man.
