KELVIN 'Khelo' Dixon, winner of the 2008 Tastee Talent Trail Grand Finals, is the new lead vocalist for veteran reggae band Inner Circle.

Khelo recently released the song Do-4-U, and plans to film a supporting music video on his return from Europe.

Based in Miami, the Grammy-winning Inner Circle are one of reggae's stalwart bands.

the band was formed in Kingston in the late 1960s with the Lewis brothers, Ian and Roger, at the helm. the early Inner Circle also included guitarist Stephen 'Cat' Coore and keyboardist Michael 'Ibo' Cooper, who later formed Third World.

Inner Circle enjoyed tremendous success in the mid-1970s with the charismatic lead singer Jacob Miller.

The band relocated to Miami after Miller died in an auto accident in 1980.

They made a remarkable comeback in the 1990s with the songs Bad Boys and Sweat, taken from the album Bad Boys which won the 1994 Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album.
