Kite Fest for Westmoreland

THE Western Kite Fest takes place today at Mannings High School in Westmoreland.
As usual, the day-long event focuses on kiting but organisers have gone for a strong entertainment line-up to attract patrons.
Dancehall acts I Octane, Tommy Lee, Romaine Virgo, Jah Vinci and Tiana are part of the entertainment segment which starts at 10:00 pm.
"Kite Fest is growing in popularit. It's a family event, we always give the patrons a great entertainment package each year and the people love it," said promoter Tia Rainford.
