Klum says she has moved on

Wednesday, September 05, 2012

HEIDI Klum is speaking out following a string of comments made by her soon-to-be ex-husband, Seal.

"I cherish all of the great memories Seal and I created together over the years," Heidi told People.

"Our separation was based on issues between the two of us," she continued. "Seal has moved on and so have I. My priority has and continues to be protecting and providing for our children."

The "Project Runway" star's comments come following remarks Seal made on Friday when he was asked by reporters what he thought of his ex's rumored new relationship with her bodyguard of four years, Martin Kristen.

"To be quite honest, if there is going to be somebody else in [my children's] lives, I'd much rather it was a familiar face," Seal told TMZ, when asked about Heidi's possible involvement with Martin. "I guess the only thing I would have preferred is that — I guess I didn't expect any better from him, I would have preferred Heidi show a little bit more class, and at least wait until we separated first before deciding to fornicate with the help, as it were."

A rep for Seal later further explained the singer's comments telling People, "Seal would like to clarify that he was not implying his wife was cheating on him while they were together, but rather he was pointing out that they are separated and the divorce is not final so they are legally still married."

As previously reported on Access Hollywood.com, a rep for Heidi told Access on Saturday, "It is sad that Seal has to resort to false accusations."
