Konshen power LIME Xmas campaign

DANCEHALL artiste Konshens has teamed up with US based Jamaican singer Tosh Alexander on the single What a Time.

The single was released last month and was produced by Konshen's label Subskonshous Music. In an interview with Splash, Konshens explained the concept behind the song and music video.

"The concept is a happy sexy blend. A party vibe where both genders link up with myself and the featured artiste 'Tosh'... very romantic set up which is actually very much like me!!! lol. It also shows our beautiful Jamaica, from the people to the scenery to the music," he said.

Konshens said that the idea for the single first came about when he was approached by LIME representives to do a song fitting for their Christmas Campaign.

"The fans have embraced it so far and I am very happy to do a project with LIME especially one such as this one where they are giving back to customers," he said.

The entertainer also spoke highly of Tosh saying that her vocals are flawless.

Alexander, 25 was born in Kingston but migrated to the United States at age 13. She is best known for her cameo in Busta Rhymes, Nicki Minaj and Pharell's hit single Twerk It. The track is the lead song from Busta Rhymes' new album, Extinction Level Event 2.
