REGGAE singer Lion D was in Jamaica this week working on a video for the song Heartical Love, done with Italian singer Alborosie. It was filmed in Montego Bay and directed by Asha McHail.

Lion D was born in the United Kingdom and raised in Italy. His songs have found favour with sound systems, radio disc jockeys and producers in Europe. He is keen to establish a similar presence in North America.

Last year, he released the roots reggae album, Bring Back the Vibes, which was named by webzine Reggae Trends as the third best album of 2013 behind Etana's Better Tomorrow and New Name by Jah9.

Lion D has collaborated with Gappy Ranks, Lutan Fyah and several European reggae acts.

His 2013 single, Sound boy a Go Dead, produced by French label Irie Ites did well in Europe.
