Nadine Sutherland for Redbones Café

REGGAE artiste Nadine Sutherland will be the featured guest at the Redbones Blues/Jazz Café on Argyle Road in St Andrew on Friday.

The evening dubbed, Nadine and Friends Live, is centred around the artiste's musical journey.

The friends who will be performing were selected by Sutherland.

A 1979 Tastee Talent Competition winner, Sutherland's early career was nurtured by reggae king Bob Marley.

Sutherland's voice is on Donovan Germain-produced track Action, a combination with Terror Fabulous in 1993. The song peaked at number 43 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Sutherland was on the smash hit I'll Do Anything You (remix) by Canadian deejay Snow which also featured Buju Banton, Beenie Man, Terror Fabulous, Louis Culture, and Kulture Knox.
