American punk rock band No Doubt has released their latest reggae song, Push and Shove. It is the title track from the California band's forthcoming album.

Push and Shove features incarcerated dancehall artiste Busy Signal and Major Lazer. It was produced by Diplo.

This track is the follow-up to the group's dancehall single Settle Down which peaked at number 34 on the Billboard Hot 100; number 19 on Billboard Pop Songs chart; number 24 in Canada; number 28 in Japan and number 36 in New Zealand.

In the past, No Doubt has collaborated with dancehall acts including Lady Saw and Bounty Killer.

Bounty Killer was featured on the group's Hey Baby single which peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 and won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.

Lady Saw teamed with the group on Underneath it All which is the group's biggest hit to date in America, peaking at number three on the Billboard Hot 100. It too won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.

Hezron looks back at Those Days

Singer Hezron recently released the single Those Days which is produced by Wattage Music on their hot new riddim, Sticky.

In a recent interview, Hezron explained that the track looks at a time when things were different in Jamaica, not just musically but socially.

"I feel very good about this song, I think a lot of people are going to love it. It tells a story about when people could go out and party without fear, and peace, love and respect was the order of the day," said Hezron. "I truly believe that we have to get back that kind of one love vibe for us to move forward as a people and a nation."

Hezron has hit local charts with songs like Can't Come Between, Forever and Always, All Woman, Two Places and So in Love.

Chizem seeks the breakthrough

Singjay Chizem plans to heat things up with her risqué lyrics and a different vocal style.

"I want to make a big impact on the dancehall music scene and establish myself locally and then from there I plan to take my career on to the international scene," said Chizem. "I am confident that I have what it takes to make it, she added.

The Mandeville native says she was bitten by the music bug early as she sang on her school choir and later the church youth choir. It helped prepare her vocally for the future.

"I really cherish those early experiences, I learnt a lot about singing, she said.

Chizem has released a number of singles, namely Have It Lock, If Mi Win the Lotto, Dancefloor, and Wine. But it is her latest song, Mi like It (The Threesome Song) which has generated the most heat.

Singer David M has begun his trek on Media Base's Top 100 Rhythmic chart with Here Comes Your Life. In its second week on the tally, the track featuring Beenie Man has climbed to number 98. The chart is led by Rihanna's Where Have You Been which is in its second week at number one.

American band Maroon 5 continues its movement on Billboard's Hot 100 chart with the reggae-inspired single One More Night. The song cracks the top 10 at number four, giving the group its second top 10 from its current album Overexposed. The first single, Payphone featuring Wiz Khalifa, peaked at number two.
