Popcaan — the ravin' king
Friday, September 14, 2012
Popcaan has lived up to his hype by releasing a host of hit songs since late last year.
These include Ravin, Party Shot, All Now, Naughty Girl and his most successful, Only Man She Want.
In March, the latter debuted at number 89 on the Billboard R&B Hip Hop Chart and was later remixed with American rapper Busta Rymes.
The 24-year-old deejay, who was christened Andre Sutherland, has managed to secure several gigs in Europe and the Caribbean.
Pop Caan has been a member of Vybz Kartel's Gaza Empire since 2007 and appeared on the deejay's monster hit, Clarks.
He recently launched a T-shirt line bearing Popcaan slang such as 'Yaoow' and 'Wha Gwaan'.
