Thursday, January 05, 2017

The Raggamuffin Music Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary with another all-day event on February 18 at Trusts Arena in Auckland, New Zealand.

Shaggy, The Wailers with Julian Marley and Aston ‘Family Man’ Barrett, Ky-Mani Marley with Gentleman, Morgan Heritage, Diana King and Etana are the acts confirmed for the show.

A number of home-grown acts will also perform. They include Six60, The Black Seeds, Herbs, and House Of Shem.

Australian Andrew McManus started Raggamuffin Festival in 2008 with shows in the cities of Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Due to waning crowds, it was last held in Australia five years ago and moved to New Zealand.

Some of the biggest names in reggae and hip hop have performed on the Raggamuffin Music Festival, including Ziggy Marley, the Original Wailers, Sly and Robbie, Maxi Priest, Steel Pulse, Wyclef Jean, and Lauryn Hill.
