Shaggy & Friends

We daresay that the inaugural Shaggy & Friends charity concert had the hallmark of excellence. Shaggy dared Jamaica to support the ultra expensive one-night affair in support of the Busatamante Hospital for Children and they did. Lot of millions have been raised for the hospital, and this has become the ultimate "feel-good" event.

Jamaica Jazz Festival

Held at the Aqueduct in Rose Hall, Montego Bay, the Jamaica Jazz Festival must go down in 2009 books as a superbly staged event at which performers gave patrons their money's worth.

Pepsi Teensplash

One of the few successful events for the holiday season Pepsi Teensplash delivered some solid performances and solidified the Gully/Gaza peace treaty.

Mountain Dew Stunt Festival

The family event saw thousands turning out on the grounds of the Jamalco Sports Complex in Clarendon to enjoy the gravity-defying stunts from the team out of the States. The day's entertainment was capped by some great performances from top artistes in the dancehall.

Follow di Arrow

This one must go down in the books as the show that saw Kip Rich coming into his own and another group tumbling. It also delivered some memorable performances.

A St Mary Mi Come From

More like a three-day music festival, this concert had a performance roster that read like a who's who in the dancehall. It also saw a massive crowd turning out to support Capleton, who stages this charity event to give back to his parish.

West Kingston Jamboree

The well executed stageshow went on until the sun came up and they will go down first in the books as the first time since the 'war' Vybz and Mavado peacefully shared the same stage.

Raga Christmas Show

Sold off. And when Shebada stepped in baring his chest, the place no good again.
