DANCEHALL artiste Jahmiel is the latest entertainer being plagued by unscrupulous individuals taking bookings on his behalf.

"We have received quite a few calls from promoters who have paid money for Jahmiel for a booking we have no knowledge of," said Cyndi Davila, Jahmiel's manager.

"Most recently, we have been notified of persons stating that they are Jahmiel's official manager. I would like to make it clear that Jahmiel has only one manager and that's me," she continued.

Davila is asking show promoters to do their due diligence checks before entering in any contractual arrangements with anyone.

"We ask that all promoters do their homework before booking any artiste and to the persons taking bookings on behalf of Jahmiel and handling business on behalf of Jahmiel as his 'management' please stop it! This is not helping his career," she said.

Jahmiel, who recently returned from Grenada, is known for songs including Real Father, Do It My Way and United. He is slated to embark on a European tour early January.
