Sean Paul, arguably dancehall’s biggest star ever, scored his 10th Top 10 song on the Billboard Hot 100 this week with Rockabye, his collaboration with British outfit Clean Bandit.


Rockabye, which also features singer Anne Marie, is at number nine.


Released in October, Rockabyespent nine weeks atop the UK Singles chart. It also topped tables in 20 other countries for gold, platinum and diamond certification.


The song’s biggest sales to date is in the United Kingdom with over 600,000 units. In Germany, Rockabye has over 400,000 in sales and 200,000 in Italy.


There are also impressive figures in Canada (160,000), Australia (210,000) and Poland (over 100,000).


Meanwhile, Cheap Thrills, Sean Paul’s song with Australian singer Sia, is nominated in two categories at Australia’s APRA Music Awards, scheduled for April 3 in Sydney.


The song, which went number one on Billboard, is nominated for Most Played Australian Work and Pop Work of The Year.
