Last year, England-based dancehall artiste Spookie scored a hit with
Hurt It Up
. He is hoping to capitalise on that breakthrough by releasing the single
Ntn Less
, produced by Markus Myrie.

"Ntn Less is a party song for the flossers, the big spenders and high rollers. It is also a part of my lifestyle. Ntn less dan ‘Henny’ inna di dance," said Spookie.

He told Splash that the link with Myrie was made through social media last year. Since then, he has recorded two songs for the producer.

Born Jason White, Spookie is originally from Tower Hill in Kingston. He migrated to England four years ago.

"Although Hurt It Up is a hit single, I feel as though I should have promoted more in Jamaica. I should be there on almost a permanent basis to campaign in the streets. People from all over the world love the song but still struggle to put a face (to it), and sometimes a name behind the song," he noted.

Spookie has also worked with producers such as DJ Frass and Mini E5 Records, Seanizzle and TJ Records.
