Stone Love Award winners

LAST Saturday, popular sound system Stone Love celebrated its 40th anniversary with a massive event at the Red Stripe plant on Spanish Town Road in St Andrew.
In adddition to performances by entertainers and stints by the Stone Love crew and guest selectors, the 'Immortal Sound' handed out a number of awards to players in the entertainment industry.
The major awards went to fellow sound systems King Stur Gav, Black Scorpio and Killamanjaro which, like Stone Love are celebrating 40 years in the business. Another sound system, Soul to Soul was also recognised for its contribution to reggae music for over 40 years in Jamaica and Canada.
