Styleweek ignition for Fiction tonight

Wednesday, July 07, 2010

As the excitement moves into overdrive for Styleweek Jamaica, a stylish collaboration between Steve Wilson's Mystic Urchin and Saint International will see Ficton Nightclub become glamour central tonight for the Styleweek kick-off party dubbed BNM Styleweek Ignition

For the last 18 months, on a select Wednesday, the Wilson-innovation Brand New Machine (BNM) has swept Kingston into a glam fest with fashion-centric superparties at the decadent party central that is Fiction Nightclub in the Marketplace. On this night, Kingston's most stylish deck to the nines to infuse energy into a hyper night characterized by eclectic music mixes by guest DJs and exotic cocktail mixes that keep the vibe raging all night. The Styleweek Ignition party will be kept alive with ricking mixes from international guest DJ, Renegade. The list of supermodels, top designers, stylists, celebrities, entertainers, media and style-savvy socialites is bound to justify the BNM status.

"Saint is very pleased to partner with Steve (Wilson) on this project. The BNM brand forms easy synergy with the dynamism of Styleweek Jamaica," said Deiwght Peters, creator and executive producer for the event

"Styleweek represents the best of Jamaica in a very sophisticated way and BNM is all about the chic, glamorous and sassy side of Kingston, so this partnership is perfect and will be long term," Wilson stated.

Styleweek runway events unveil the 2011 collections of Jamaican designers alongside international guest designers from Paris, New York, Miami and Los Angeles. The events include the International Men's Collections on Friday July 9 at the South Lawns of Devon House, Saturday July 10 will reveal the International Mecca Of Style at Fort Charles Port Royal and Sunday is the spectacular grand finale Fashionblock on Knutsford Boulevard.
