Styling with: Ashley

Thursday, September 09, 2010

WHEN it comes to making a fashion statement, singer, Ashley Martin prides herself on doing just that. According to her, style is very important, which is why she doesn't step out unless she looks ready for the runway.

"My style is very chic, I'm talking runway glamour couture stuff," the former lead singer of Byron Lee and the Dragonnaires gushed.

Now gone solo delivering R&B-flavoured songs, Ashley says she has a craze for the latest fashion.

"When I step out I am always making a fashion statement."

When it comes to sporting designer wear Ashley says nothing but a Roberto Cavalli or Louis Vuitton will do.

The classy singer has definite taste in shoes and for her it is Gucci.

For fragrance, Ashley goes for something that "you won't find everyone else sporting".

Angel by Thierry Mugler, according to Ashley, is a scent that you don't find on the regular woman. "When you wear it, you turn heads -- if a scent can do that, Angel would be the one," she said.

Tomorrow evening when the shopping fun takes place at Fashion's Night Out, Ashley says she will be popping in at Shimmer, 20/20 Fashion and Traffic Mode -- her favourite stores to shop outside of the US.

I hope she saves some of that money and donate to charity and stop fooling herself. It won't last forever.
