Consistent appearances in Europe in the past five years have earned singer Teacha Dee a solid base there. But he yearns for a Jamaican breakthrough and believes his latest song, Rastafari Way , can do the trick.

Co-produced by Giddimani Records and House of Riddims, it was released in August.

"This song is doing well internationally and I believe it has the potential to be a hit in Jamaica. Right now my team is getting ready to put a massive promotional push behind it locally," said Teacha Dee.

A former teacher at Glendevon Primary and Junior High School in St James, Teacha Dee (real name Damion Warren) hails from Westmoreland. He launched his recording career in 2005 with Life Goes On for German label Popow Records.

He performed in Europe for the first time in 2011 and has returned regularly for club and festival shows.
