Singjay Tydal hits a controversial chord with his latest single, Silent Warrior which was released in June.

"Silent Warrior is more like calling for a revolution. People should take a stand for what they believe in and let their voices be heard and not just stay silent, while our leaders mismanage the affairs of the country," Tydal told this column.

"Changes must take place because the underprivileged can't take no more."

Written by Tydal, Silent Warrior is produced by Florida-based Train Line Productions. It features backing vocals from Digicel Rising Stars finalist Adena Myrie.

Tydal has had a good run in recent months with songs such as Ball Ground, Tell Dem Fi Farm and Inna Mi Arms.

He is scheduled to perform at this weekend's Little Ochi Seafood Festival in Manchester.
