World of Smirnoff expands with two new beverages
PARTY patrons and lovers of the high life have two new beverages, courtesy of premium vodka Smirnoff.
The Marshmallow and Iced Cake flavours were introduced with much fanfare at the poolside at the Terra Nova Hotel in St Andrew on Wednesday.
"These two new products will create history in Jamaica and change how we experience Vodka," Jermaine Bibbons, brand manager Smirnoff, told the Jamaica Observer.
Both new flavours join Smirnoff's Green Apple, which was a success and reinvented the local cocktail, according to Bibbons. These sweeter mixes, over the straight vodka, have endeared the coveted age 25-35 female demographic to the brand and Bibbons expects this to continue with the new additions.
"It had a serious impact. It stepped the cocktail game up a few notches," he said.
At the launch, invited guests had ample opportunity to sample the new drinks, alongside the old favourites. They were also treated to mixed cocktails and pastries from Chocolate Dreams prepared with both Smirnoff Iced Cake and Fluffed Marshmallow to showcase their versatility.
DJ Kurt Riley provided the musical selections.
