Campari returns to Pop Style

FASHION face-off, Campari Pop Style, returns for a third year across four locations islandwide. The announcement was made at the launch held at J Wray & Nephew's corporate office in New Kingston, recently.

“We're excited about the fact for a third year in a row, we get to reward our consumers for just looking good and the fact is that Jamaicans are naturally stylish,” Marsha Lumley, director of marketing — Gruppo Campari Jamaica, told the Jamaica Observer.

The fashion competition follows the same formula which has made it popular over the years. All four events are free to the public and participants should be 18 years or older.

At each party, the “most stylish male and female” guests will be chosen by a panel of judges.

The first of three qualifiers will take place on October 12 in Junction, St Elizabeth. Others are at the Rudolf Elder Park in Morant Bay, St Thomas and Salem in St Ann, on October 26 and November 9, respectively.

The grand finale is scheduled for the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre in Kingston on November 30.

Winners of each round will receive $100,000 in cash. The six contestants will move to the grand finale where they will be joined by a “wild card” entry for the grand prize of $250,000.

“We're inviting everyone to come out to the parties, enjoy our cocktails responsibly, and show us how you Pop Style to win some cash,” said Lumley.

“This year, our two resident judges are Fashion Barber and Desha Ravers,” she continued.

Among the guest judges are: Tanaania Tracey, owner of Shop Necessits and Shanice “Shanzi,” Allen, social media influencer.

Last year, Jovanni Lancaster and Mikayla Salmon were Campari Pop Style's Most Stylish Male and Female, respectively.
