Wednesday, November 14, 2018

AFTER completing the California leg of his Money Tree EP tour, reggae singer Dillgin his sights set on the Big Apple.

“Reggae music is still growing on the West Coast. It has been that way for years and it is only getting bigger. California continually rediscovers reggae as a way to bring communities together in the Rastafarian spirit of 'One Love, One World',” said Dillgin.

That leg of his tour started October 10 and ended October 28. He performed at the Dub Club in Echo Park, the Fully Fully venue in Long Beach, and Station 1640 in Hollywood.

Released earlier this month, the six-track Money Tree EP is produced by Wall Streetz Records. In addition to the title track, the set includes Million Miles, My Queen, and Smile.

“People love the title track, for which I will be shooting a video soon. The feedback has been excellent from hard-core reggae fans,” he told the Jamaica Observer.

The singer is slated perform at Club Bamboo in Baltimore, Maryland, on December 1, before heading to New York.

“I'm looking forward to performing for reggae fans in New York as they support the genre,” he said.

The two-day New York leg begins on December 5. The tour culminates in Philadephia two days later.

“The career a move inna the right direction,” he said.

Dilligin (given name Robert Bailey) is known for hit songs including Heart of Mine and Still A Work.
