The second staging of Stone's Footloose retro party for this year is scheduled for Mas Camp, Stadium North in Kingston, on Saturday, June 1.

Now in its 13th year, Footloose continues to pull a large number of patrons with each staging.

Promoter Tyrone Dixon of Broadway Productions says keeping patrons satisfied is one of the ingredients which has kept the event going over the years.

“We aim to make our patrons happy at every event. We know what people are looking for at retro events and we make it happen,” Dixon told the Jamaica Observer.

Dubbed the Short Shorts Edition, Footloose will as usual take patrons on a nostalgic journey, as they relive the musical hits from the past.

Dixon explained what patrons can expect.

“They can expect a footloose time. Non-stop dancing to good music selections and great vibe all night,” he said.

Since it started in 2006, Footloose is held four times annually.
