Jamrock cruise sets sail today

THE five-night Welcome To Jamrock Reggae Cruise is expected to leave its Fort Lauderdale port today, destined for Montego Bay and Ocho Rios and then back to its starting point.

Organised by Marley brothers, Stephen and Damian, the voyage on board Royal Caribbean's Independence of the Seas is aimed at providing live concerts along the journey.

In addition to the Marleys, the line-up includes Sizzla, Jah Cure, Luciano, Freddie McGregor, Bounty Killer, Tarrus Riley, Cocoa Tea, Busy Signal, Popcaan, Cham, Inner Circle, Richie Spice, Tanto Metro & Devonte, Pressure Buss Pipe, Spice, and Iba Mahr.

Sound system icon David Rodigan and Tony Matterhorn are also billed to perform.

The cruise is now in its fourth year.
