Emerging deejay Lan Deezl is hoping his latest single, Fi Yu Body , will propel him into the spotlight.

Self-produced on the deejay's Deezl House Production label, the song was released in February.

“The song ah get a great feedback so I am going to give it a big push this summer,” said Lan Deezl, whose given name is Orlando Francis.

Lan Deezl grew up on Fagan Avenue in Grants Pen, Kingston. And he honed his skills performing at numerous parties in the Corporate Area.

“Music is my sanity. Since the journey started some 10-plus years now, music has got me through a lot of things,” he said.

A few years ago, he formed Deezl House Productions to assist in promoting other up-and-coming acts. In 2017, he received fair exposure with Mi Deh Deh on the Glory Road rhythm (produced by YaadGang Records). That same year, he released the Toxic Love Riddim.

“The foundation is now set for me and the sky is the limit,” Lan Deezl said.
