Saturday, January 20, 2018

Veteran reggae singer Marcia Griffiths recently signed an exclusive booking deal with the New York-based Donsome Booking Agency.

Griffiths — who was part of Bob Marley's backing vocal trio I-Three and who recently celebrated 50 years in the music industry, explained why she chose to work with the agency.

“Donsome Booking Agency is well known in the music fraternity for their meticulous work and how they collaborate with their artistes and guide them in a professional manner to elevate their musical career. So, because of their track record I decided to acquire their services to represent me,” she said.

The agency is headed by Adrian “Donsome” Hanson. He is ecstatic about working with Griffiths and shared some of his plans for her career.

“The plan is to take the Queen of Reggae to the zenith path of her musical career and rejuvenate and expand her fan base across the world, so her faithful fans will once again have the opportunity to see her on tour in Africa, Europe, Asia, South America, North America and the Caribbean,” he said.

Griffiths is confident that her association with the company will enhance her career.

She spoke about new projects that her fans can look forward to.

“Presently I am in the studio preparing and recording my new single that will be released in a few weeks, so my fans, can look out for it,” said Griffiths, whose latest single Too Good at Goodbyes is riding the South Florida and Foundation Radio Network Reggae charts.
