The annual Orville Manning and Friends Concert takes place tomorrow, December 10, at the Spanish Town Methodist Church at 30 White Church Street. Showtime is 5:00 pm.

The 29- year-old event will feature noted church organist Trevor Beckford, pianist Yanique Leiba-Ebanks, both of whom will be also accompanist for tenor soloist Manning as well as other performers such as Trevor Brown, Delano Mighty, Michelle Wallace-Knight and Kristojoy.

A staple of this festival of joy is wide ranging musical items across genres from popular contemporaries to ancient classics from Mozart to Handel. On the concert for almost three decades, the more than 150-year-old chapel in the Old Capital would reverberate to the music of modern Jamaican music by Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Jimmy Cliff, Junior Reid, and Buju Banton, to name a few.
