Last weekend the performers of the Wolmer's Dance Troupe lit up the stage of Little Theatre in St Andrew for their 27th season of dance.

Founder and artistic director of the troupe Barbara McDaniel expressed delight in the final production which unfolded on the stage.

“It was another great season with a diverse offering from guest choreographers Renee McDonald, Orett Beckford, Kerry Ann Lawrence and Lee-Ann Williams. We have been getting nothing but great comments from the public about the shows,” said McDaniel.

The Wolmer's Dance Troupe draws from students of both the preparatory and high schools. The dancers range in age from three to 16 years. For the annual production the dancers begin training in July, take a break in August, and refine movement and technique once school resumes in September.

Here are highlights from this year's showcase.
