Three students from the winning school in Scotiabank's Kiddy Cricket Programme 2017, Nazareth Primary, did their bit to honour Mother Earth last Saturday by helping to plant a Bismark Palm just behind the North Stand on the island's cricket foremost ground — Sabina Park. Nazareth Primary is located in Mandeville.

Here, Scotia executives Hope McMillan-Canaan (second left) and Yanique Forbes Patrick, and Nazareth students Ronaldo Dennis (second right) and Britanya Newsome (right) observed as Nathan McKintosh shovelled dirt onto the root of the tree. Kiddy cricketers from the top eight schools also participated in the Earth Day event. (Photo: Garfield Robinson)
