Fashion's Night Out

LIME rolls out all stars and hot deals for FNO

Thursday, September 08, 2011

The 'E' in LIME will be showcased as the telecoms company rolls out an exciting entertainment package and fashionable phone offers for deal-seeking shoppers heading to the plazas this evening.

"The Jamaica Observer's Celebration of Fashion's Night Out is an ideal vehicle to show off 'LIME Style' — the part of our brand that responds to the trendsetters among us and identifies with the most 'happening' activities in Jamaica," says LIME regional special projects manager, Stephen Price.

"Everyone knows, that the 'E' in LIME is for Entertainment, so we will also be rolling out a spectacular entertainment package including a celebrity motorcade — which will make stops at select LIME stores in the Corporate Area as well as simultaneous concerts at the Bargain Mall, Clock Tower Plaza and the Captain's Bakery parking lot in Portmore," Price highlighted.

The Kingston leg will feature Beenie Man, Wayne Marshall, Alaine, Voicemail, Spice and other members of the LIME All Star cast, while the Sunshine City will be visited by Bounty Killer, Elephant Man, CeCile, Stephen and Chino McGregor, among others.

The motorcade will leave the LIME Carlton Crescent location at 6:00 pm and make stops at LIME locations on Knutsford Boulevard, Liguanea, and Tropical Plaza before the grand show at Bargain Mall, Clock Tower Plaza, starting at 9:30 pm. The Portmore-bound artistes will make stops at LIME locations in Portmore Mall Plaza and Greater Portmore before heading to Captain's Bakery for the concert at 9:00 pm.

The key offering from LIME for FNO, however, will be several deals on handsets and other devices for customers. Persons who visit select LIME stores across the island during the FNO event will also be able to get double their mobile credit when they purchase $300 or more in LIME top-up vouchers.

Additionally several discounted plans and bundles for hot-ticket items like the new Fliptop computer — a low-cost PC, the ZTE mobile TV phone, the Alcatel 208 for only $1,000 with the purchase of a Campus Crew plan as well as a special trade-in deal for CLARO iPhone users.

LIME artiste Prodigal — the face of the LIME Fliptop a low-cost PC initiative — will also be making a special appearance at the LIME Bargain Mall store.

"For anyone who is out and about, a great night of shopping will climax with great phone deals and an exhilarating entertainment package courtesy of LIME," Price adds.
