Fashion's Night Out

More than a flower pot

Do it yourself

Recently I went shopping for flower pots and found some really beautiful choices. And there were more that I loved than I needed. Still wanting to acquire a few extra ones, I then got to thinking about other ways to use them. Jamaica OBSERVER CELEBRATES FASHION'S NIGHT OUT this evening and I plan on making my home a fashionable reflection of me, so I'll be shopping for home accents as well as fashion accents.

With places like Living Spaces, for example, that carry great home accents and are firm believers that one's home should be fashionable, then beautiful pots like the ones featured today will definitely be snagged. Keep your eyes open for good deals at other participating stores on flower pots, vases, baskets and other "vessels" that can be used in many different ways in the home as your home should be just as fashionable as you are.

Today the featured uses for these decorative flower pots are:

1. The obvious, to hold house plants that are in unsightly plastic pots

2. Towel holder: great to hold small hand towels in a guest bathroom, or large towels in the master bath or at the poolside. They can also hold throws and blankets on a patio

3. Toilet paper holder

4. Stationery / craft organiser

The thing to remember is that not everything is what it is; it's how you use it, and every good do-it-yourselfer must always think creatively and outside the box to get the most out of any and everything. Happy FNO shopping!
