Fashion's Night Out
Use NCB credit cards and enjoy FNO deals
Thursday, September 08, 2011
THE ease and convenience of shopping with NCB credit cards will be one of the attractive features tonight when hundreds of thousands of Jamaicans are expected to flock to stores islandwide during the five-hour shopping blitz that is the Observer's celebration of Fashion's Night Out (FNO).
According to Gina May Mair, NCB's senior marketing-officer, cards, the bank has some amazing partners who are delivering exclusive discounts so that all NCB credit card holders can benefit from fabulous deals, starting at 5:00 pm.
Asked what influenced the bank to sponsor the event, now in its third year, Mair said: "We know that our customers are looking for ways to add value while living life fully. For our merchants it provides a welcomed stimulus at a time of year that is not a traditionally peak shopping period. We are happy to support an event that provided this winning op.portunity for our valued customers."
Mair noted that since the first staging of the Jamaica Observer's celebration of FNO in 2009, the event has provided NCB with a platform to not only meet its consumers but to also partner with its key merchants and together afford the public a value-added shopping experience, such as the gifting of tote bags, additional discounts and after-FNO prizes.
"Our executives were also engaged throughout Kingston 'store-hopping' and enjoying the energetic atmosphere that the evening created," Mair explained. "As the nation's leading financial institution we are delighted to be a part of what is greatly considered an economic stimulus and a vibrant global initiative."
