Reggae City Jerk Village
On the recommendation of my jerkloving posse, I headed to Bog Walk in the late afternoon last Thursday for dinner with friends. Our destination: Reggae City Jerk Village.
The experience: wholly satisfying! The jerk here is smoky and spicy; and adding dollops of the special three-dimension sauce made the taste of our jerk pork order that much more special, especially when washed down with a round of cold Red Stripes.
Both the jerk chicken and pork here are ridiculously affordable with my quarter-pound order of pork just $300.
My party of four sat at the rooftop dining space that overlooks the road and surrounding community, and also enjoyed bowls of delicious red peas soup that quickly vanished.
Contrary to its name, Reggae City Jerk Village also serves a variety of Jamaican faves that include curried goat, stew chicken, and fried chicken.
