Teen among four charged with Hanover double murder

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Four persons, including a teenager, who were charged in connection with the July 25 murder of 91-year-old Doris Frame and 15-year-old Jessie Spence of Malcolm Heights, Lucea in Hanover are set to appear in the Parish Court tomorrow.

Charged with two counts of murder and shooting are Gavin Casely,23, otherwise called 'Satan' or 'Jerome', Howard McIntosh otherwise called 'Zil' or 'Howie', Nickoy McKenzie,24, otherwise called 'Nick' and a 15-year-old boy.

The men were taken into custody between July 25 and August 5.

Reports from the Lucea police are that about 9:00 pm, Spence and the elderly woman were in their yard when they were pounced on by four armed men who opened fire at them.

The men reportedly entered the house and shot Frame who was in her bedroom.

The police were alerted and on their arrival, both were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
