Fraser-Pryce demolishes Diamond League 100m field

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce ran away with the 100m in Zurich this afternoon clocking 10.83 to win over Carmalita Jeter (10.97) in second place.  Allyson Felix was third in 11.02.

Kelly Ann Baptiste of Trinidad was disqualified after a false start while Jamaica’s Kerron Stewart finished sixth.

This win confirms Fraser-Pryce as the 2012 Diamond League champion.
