KINGSTON, Jamaica – Telecoms giant Digicel today handed over $1 million to 22-year-old Kellyon Smith in the company’s celebration of its one-millionth data subscriber.

The company commented on Facebook that Smith activated a two-day 4G data plan for $100 and won for herself the $1 million prize as well as a brand new Samsung S5.

An excited Smith told OBSERVER ONLINE “I’m in school so I have a lot of expenses already. There is also student loan to repay so I have a lot to do [with the money].”
