2 killed in shootout with St Ann police

ST ANN, Jamaica — Two men were fatally shot at a house in Parry Town, St Ann during an alleged shootout with police yesterday.

Dead are Kirkland Gowe, also known as Sauceman who is from the area, and Cabrini Rose.

The police reportedly saw several men at a house in the community and said on approaching, the men started shooting at them.

The police team reportedly returned gunfire and the two men were later found suffering from gunshot wounds.

They were taken to the St Ann's Bay Hospital where they were pronounced dead.

The lawmen did not say what happened to the other men.
