3 killed in Westmoreland crash

THE driver of a Toyota Corolla station wagon motorcar and its two occupants were killed in a motor vehicle collision on New Hope main road, Westmoreland this morning.

The driver has been identified as 24-year-old Kevin Gunter of Mango Hall in the parish and the passengers are 19-year-old Loxley Gayle and 20-year-old Chrisna Rowe, both of Broughton Road, Little London in the parish.

The Little London Police report that about 3:00 am, the three were traveling easterly along the roadway, when the driver reportedly lost control of the motor vehicle, which crashed into an embankment and overturned. All three sustained multiple injuries.

They were taken to the Savanna-la-Mar Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
