8 cops in INDECOM case fined $650,000 each

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Eight police officers who were brought before the court by the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) for failing to comply with a lawful request of the Commission were each slapped with a fine of $650,000 or six months in prison when they appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's court Thursday morning.

The cops were given two months to pay the fine.
