90 firearms,1409 rounds seized in September — JCF

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police have reported that 90 firearms and 1409 rounds of ammunition were seized in September alone.

“90 firearms and 1409 assorted rds of ammo seized in Sept with St. James leading with 28 firearms and 573 rds of ammo. #GetTheGuns,” tweeted the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) this morning.

The JCF's Corporate Communication Unit (CCU) confirmed the statistics but informed that they were unable to provide more information at the moment.
