Alleged gang leader, mother killed in Hanover

HANOVER, Jamaica — An alleged gangster and his mother were killed in Hanover last night.

According to police reports, gunmen entered their home in Elgin Town in the parish about 9:30 pm and shot them multiple times.

Uton Cocket, 24, and his 44-year-old mother Carlene Graver died while another man is reportedly in hospital nursing gunshot wounds sustained in the attack.

Cocket is said to be the leader of the One Voice gang in the parish.

Police say investigations are ongoing.
